Still A Favorite

I first read this book 4 years ago just seeking a good read, not knowing who P.B.Wilson was. I did not expect the blessings that I received after reading Knight in Shining Armor. Wilson really opened my eyes, allowing me to look within myself instead of depending on a man to solve my life problems.

Don't get me wrong, I definitely have a desire for marriage and want a God-fearing man to take my hand for that long walk while here on this Earth. However, the one thing many women fail to realize is that Jesus is our first love. Initially, I didn't understand what that meant. After reading this book, the dust was cleared. I'm a better woman now that I've made my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ #1 in my life.

Knight in Shining Armor truly is a book for every woman because it speaks of more than how to prepare for a spiritual partner, but of how to love Jesus first. Seek Him and He will take care of the rest. It's that simple.

I encourage any woman who is feeling lonely, frustrated in the dating game, soon to be married, getting divorced, or compromised spiritually to read this book for your own awakening. I'm sure that after your 6 month commitment, you, too, will be spiritually refreshed and abundantly blessed!!

Single and Waiting on your Knight.

I highly recommend this book to every woman who's desire to be married. First married to God and then to their mate. This book really open my eyes on things to look for in a mate and the signs of an imitator. God is so good and he will not allow us to be ignorant of Satan tricks, plots and schemes. I'd purchased this book over 7 years ago and shortly after I purchased the book, I broke up with my ex-boyfriend. I was tired of living in sin and I knew God had much more for me. It was in 2007, I was prompted by the Holy Spirit to read the book again and everything I read in the is what I'm currently still practicing. Is been over 6 years since I read the book and I'm still waiting on my Knight in Shining Amour. I'm building a greater relationship with the Lord and I'm learning to love me. I know it was the Holy Spirit who inspired P.B. Wilson to write this book and I Thank God for the gift of Exhortation. Even though I'm still single and practicing celibacy, I know, No good thing will God with hold from me if I continue to walk up right before him.

Yet to Explore this new World

I am yet to explore the voices that make up this story as I have tried to gather all the episodes before embarking on the adventure into the future. The idea for the heroine and the story line seem great. I know the actors are as I have listened to over 200 audio-books, many of them containing the same actors. Graphic Audio does a great job!

Even though I agree this is a very engaging book there are two things I look for when I invest in purchasing an audio book.
1. Is it an abridged edition? (I really dislike abridged versions!) (almost as much as a short book)
2. How many listening hours?
Other than these two very important questions I thought the reviews and specifications were accurate.

About the Author
Jo Ellen Bogart was born in Houston, Texas, and received degrees in elementary education and psychology from the University of Texas in Austin. Her best-selling children’s books have been nominated for and won many different awards, including the Ruth Schwartz Award, the Mr. Christie’s Book Award, the Amelia Frances Howard-Gibbon Award. Her picture book Gifts was selected for the TD Grade One Book Giveaway program, as well as the IBBY Honor List. She lives in Guelph, Ontario.

Sydney Smith was born in rural Nova Scotia, and has been drawing since an early age. Since graduating from NSCAD University, he has illustrated multiple children’s books, including the wordless picture book Sidewalk Flowers, and he has received awards for his illustrations, including the Lillian Shepherd Memorial Award for Excellence in Illustration. He now lives in Toronto and works in a shared studio space in Chinatown and goes to the library or the Art Gallery of Ontario on his breaks.

A delightful tale

What a lovely book. I love cats and the peacefulness of monks - that's what appealed to me. I saw this mentioned on the brainpickings twitter feed. It's the story of 2 creatures ( the cat and the monk) co- existing while relying on each other. The cat is a mouser ( he does his job) while the monk reads and theorizes ( his job). Nicely illustrated too.

Don't get me wrong- I love this product and find it helpful with my schooling and career but I found a razor stuck between the pages when I just opened it. Needless to say I am NOT impressed.

Make sure you go through this book in entirety after purchasing. i just realized, after a few months of owning, that the page progression is out of number. my copy goes from page 200 to page 400 back to 230; etc... and its not returnable. there are also many blank pages at the end.

Practical and hands-on approach.

An excellent resource, especially if you are not a native english speaker. The author keeps the language of the book very simple and direct. It does not preach you the fundamentals of english grammar. It is more about the mistakes we do in writing and how to correct them. Book has plenty of examples to learn from. I followed a course with the author which was equally fun and informative. I would recommend this book for anyone as a more practical handbook to polish your `already` written text/ article/ thesis.

Perfect for Beginners in Violin and other "C" instruments

This fake book has all of your favorite hymns in the key of "C", with easy-to-read large music notation, simplified chords and includes all of the verses for sing along. It is perfect for beginners and has a binding that will lay flat on the music stand. All the well-known verses (including multiple) are included under the notes. Finally, unlike other fakebooks that try to crowd several songs together in one page, or split them between pages, this book fits one song per page with large readable type.

I love this Easy Hymn Fake Book and the Easy Gospel Fake Book both. Wish I'd have had some like it many years ago! They make playing so much easier. Piano or guitar! I even bought some extra for my new chord-style piano students. The large bold print is easy for my old eyes to read. I'm also impressed by the great chord selections and placements, just how my ear likes to hear the old songs of the Lord.

I knew there had to be an easier way to play piano. I'll never be a concert pianist, but I am able to enjoy playing for my own enjoyment. With the vocal training I have had, and an explanation of chords, I am able to play the old hymns I grew up with. This is easy and fun.
